MONDAY RESULTS
Just like we saw at Volleyball, the FOCA crowd came out strong tonight at Oakleigh Forest to cheer on the basketball teams. Unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the FOCA A Team, which lost to the Oakleigh Forest A Team by 7 points. However, the FOCA B Team, behind the hot shooting of Scott Steele and Steve Booth, beat the Oakleigh Forest B Team by 23 points! Both FOCA teams see action again on Saturday. Times and locations to be announced. |

Saturday, July 18
What a day of action on Saturday. Following a weather delayed swim meet, FOCA came out strong with the A Team cruising to a 49-16 win over Whitehurst's B Team in basketball. FOCA's B team then took the court, but had a more difficult challenge and lost to Whitehurst A 46-30 and then to NCA A 47-28. Both FOCA teams will look to get back to their winning ways in the playoffs starting Monday evening.
Wednesday, July 23
Wednesday had it's share of ups and down for FOCA. We lost in hoops to NCA and now will play for the bronze on Friday against Whitehurst.
